Concert Cancellation Notice
Tropical Storm Debby Update
Due to the effects of Tropical Storm Debby, and out of caution and concern for our cherished guests, the Vivace International Music Festival is announcing the cancellation of its Thursday, August 8 concert, “Chamber Music Masterpieces”, at the Wilson Center.
“While we are sad not to get to share the experience of this incredible concert with the Wilmington community, the safety of our patrons, guest artists, festival participants, festival staff, volunteers, and Wilson Center employees is our number one priority,” said Executive Director Ludovica Punzi.
Ticket holders may request to donate the cost of their ticket to Vivace Music Foundation, or change their ticket to either our Friday or Saturday (August 9 & 10) concerts by visiting this page on the Wilson Center website before August 22. If a full refund is preferred, one will be processed automatically after that time.
Vivace looks forward to welcoming everyone to the Wilson Concert once again on August 9 and 10 for the 7:30pm concerts featuring “The Van Cliburn of Today”, pianist Alexander Kobrin, and our Piano Extravaganza featuring multiple chamber music and piano ensembles.
